Service Description

Children with giftedness have significantly above average intelligence or abilities. They are able to perform at higher levels compared to same aged peers in one or more areas, including an academic subject (math, reading, etc.) or cognitive abilities (language abilities, nonverbal abilities, etc.). Gifted students require enrichment and modifications to their academic experience to learn and realize their potential, and an evaluation can give these helpful recommendations (gifted program, enrichment for the classroom, etc.).
