Psychoeducational Evaluation
Service Description
A psychoeducational evaluation is a type of psychological report that focuses on assessing and interpreting educationally related psychological and academic tests. It is designed to answer these types of questions: -Does the student have a learning disability, developmental disability, or attentional problems? -What are the student's academic and cognitive abilities, strengths and weaknesses? CHILD & ADOLESCENT EVALUATIONS: Evaluations involve a review of available records; interview of the parent/guardian, child, and potentially school staff or other professionals familiar with the child; and psychometric testing. ADULT EVALUATIONS: Evaluations involve a review of available records; interview of available relative/significant other familiar with the client, client, and potentially professionals familiar with the client (therapist, neurologist, etc.); and psychometric testing.
